Controversial relationship therapist and social media influencer Blessing CEO has publicly apologised to people whose pain she may have mocked through her past comments and actions.
The self-acclaimed relationship expert made the emotional apology in a lengthy post shared online following her recent release on bail from custody.
Okoro, who is mourning the loss of her nine-year-old son, Bryan, said she was struggling emotionally, describing her state of mind as confused, numb and surrounded by darkness.
Acknowledging her past controversial remarks, she admitted that she had spoken carelessly about experiences and pains she had never personally encountered.
“I am so sorry, for speaking about the pains I have never felt carelessly.
“I am sorry, so sorry because I am realizing that talk is cheap but action is loud. I am only human, with blood flowing through my veins, so I am bound to make mistakes. Mistakes have a price and that is what I am paying for now. With my tears.
“I am so broken to the point that I am losing myself. Pray for me because I am exhausted from praying by myself,” she wrote.
She further apologised to those she had hurt, saying she now understood the pain she once mocked.
The influencer also described her return home following her release as an opportunity to start afresh, likening herself to the prodigal son in the Bible who returned home after losing his way.
Addressing her late son, whom she fondly called Dum Dum, Blessing CEO said she missed him and promised to correct her past mistakes in a bid to make him proud.
She added that his brother, grandmother, father and best friend, Amara, were also mourning his loss.
Bryan reportedly d+ed following an asthma attack while his mother was still in detention, an incident she described as a devastating shock.
Despite her release on bail, the influencer is still facing legal proceedings over separate fraud allegations.
She also shared an emotional video alongside the lengthy apology.
